This policy explains what information Kosmax (https://kosmax.net) collects when you visit, why, and the choices you have. We keep the collection of personal data to what the site needs to work and to be funded by advertising.

Information we collect
When you read the site
- Technical data: like every website, our server and our delivery and security provider (Cloudflare) process your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
- Visit statistics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are read and how fast they load. It does not use cookies and does not identify individual visitors.
- Your display choice: if you switch to dark mode, the choice is saved in your own browser (local storage). It is never sent to us.
When you contact us
We receive the name, email address and message you send and use them only to answer you.
Comments
Comments are currently closed, so no comment data is collected. If they are reopened, we will store the name, email address and comment you submit, together with your IP address, to display the comment and to detect spam.
Advertising
Kosmax shows ads provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads and to measure how they perform:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are shown a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform before advertising cookies are used. Visitors in US states with privacy laws can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising through the privacy message. Sharing buttons and links to other sites
The Pinterest, Facebook, X and WhatsApp buttons on our articles are plain links. They send nothing to those services until you click them. Articles may also link to other websites; their privacy practices are their own, and we encourage you to read their policies.
How we use information, and on what basis
- to deliver and secure the website (our legitimate interest in running a safe site);
- to reply to messages (your request);
- to understand which content is useful and improve it (our legitimate interest);
- to show advertising that funds the site (your consent where the law requires it).
We do not use your personal data to train AI models, and we do not make decisions about you by automated means.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information for money. Information is shared only with the service providers that make the site work (hosting, Cloudflare, Google for advertising) and when the law requires it. Some privacy laws treat the use of advertising cookies as “sharing” for cross-context advertising; you can opt out as described above.
These providers may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States, under the safeguards their own policies describe.
How long we keep information
- Messages sent to us are kept only as long as needed to deal with the request.
- Server and security logs are kept for a short period by our providers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or US state laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict its use, to withdraw consent, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We answer within one month and do not treat you differently for using your rights.
Children
Kosmax is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version.
