This page explains how articles on Kosmax are chosen, written, checked and corrected, and how we use AI tools.
What we publish
We publish practical guides for everyday life: food and recipes, home and garden, DIY and crafts, beauty and self-care, family and lifestyle, pets, travel and the seasons. We choose subjects we can explain clearly and safely, and we leave out subjects that need a licensed professional.
How an article is made
- Research. We gather information on the subject and check it against sources we consider reliable.
- Drafting. A writer prepares the article. AI tools may help with research, outlining and drafting.
- Human review. A person on our team reads and edits the article before it is published: the steps must be complete and in order, the claims reasonable, the title an honest description of the article, and the language clear.
- Updates. Articles are revised when information changes. When an article has been updated, the date of the update is shown at the top.
Our use of AI
AI tools help us work faster, but they do not decide what we publish. We do not publish AI output without human review, and we are responsible for every article on the site. Some images are created or edited with AI tools and are meant as illustrations.
Who writes
Each article shows the name of its writer or of the Kosmax Editorial Team. We do not present our writers as doctors, dietitians, veterinarians, lawyers or financial advisers.
Our standards
- We do not present home preparations as replacements for medicines or medical treatment.
- We do not promise results: no guaranteed weight loss, body change, cure or income.
- Titles describe what the article contains, without exaggeration.
- Recipes for chicken and turkey give a safe cooking temperature.
- Articles that no longer meet these standards are corrected or removed.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we want to fix it. Send the link and the correction to [email protected]. Confirmed errors are corrected in the article, and significant changes are noted.
Advertising and independence
Kosmax is funded by advertising. Advertisers have no say in what we write. Sponsored content or affiliate links, if any, are identified in the article that contains them.
