This page explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on Kosmax (https://kosmax.net), what they are for, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way. They let a site remember a choice, keep itself secure, or show and measure advertising.
Cookies and storage used on this site
- Your display choice (local storage, set by Kosmax): if you switch to dark mode, the choice is saved in your own browser so the site looks the same on your next visit. It is not sent to us and holds no personal data.
- Security cookies (set by Cloudflare): our delivery and security provider may set cookies that tell real visitors from automated traffic and keep the site available. They are necessary for the site to work safely.
- Consent cookies (set by Google’s consent message): they remember the choice you made in the consent message, so you are not asked on every page.
- Advertising and measurement cookies (set by Google and its advertising partners): used to show ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure how ads perform and, where you have agreed or the law allows it, to show ads based on your interests.
Kosmax itself sets no tracking cookie. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not follow you from site to site.
Advertising cookies in more detail
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and of some other vendors’ personalised advertising at aboutads.info or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu.
- How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Your choices
- The consent message. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for their choice before advertising cookies are used, through a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform. You can accept, refuse or adjust your choices, and change them later by reopening the message. Visitors in US states with privacy laws can use the privacy message to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising.
- Your browser. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, for all sites or for this one. The site still works without advertising cookies; ads may simply be less relevant to you.
Changes
We update this page when the cookies used on the site change. The date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: [email protected].
